Guidance for Nonimmigrant Visa Email Subject Lines:
- The subject line on all routine email correspondence should start with your passport number. (e.g. AB1239876 - New Mobile Number)
- If you are requesting the return of your passport, the subject line should start with "Return Passport" followed by your passport number. (e.g. Return Passport AB1239876)
- If the consular officer requested additional information at the conclusion of the interview and gave you a green form, please include the 3-digit number after your passport number. (e.g. AB1239875/ 012)

Report Visa Fraud!
If you suspect someone of fraud of malfeasance in the visa process, we ask you report it immediately to the U.S. Embassy in Islamabad. The information you provide to the Embassy will remain confidential and will only be seen by Consular Officers and other U.S. Government employees working on a person's visa case. You can confidentially report fraud by emailing us at infoport@state.gov. Please be as specific as possible including the person's name, date of birth, and passport number as well as your name and contact information. Please note that fabricating stories about visa applicants is not acceptable.
