Rallies are planned throughout the country for Friday October 5, 2007 in observance of "Al-Quds Day." According to Islamabad police sources, a rally of 500 to 600 people will occur after Friday prayers in the Melody Market area (G-6/1-3) and will move via Municipal Road to Aabpara market where it will disperse. This rally is expected to continue for about 2 hours. While in the recent past these rallies have been mainly peaceful, Americans are advised to avoid this area prior to Friday prayers and into the afternoon as a general security precaution
