Demonstrations Alert

There is currently a group of approximately 800 people gathered near Radio Pakistan to protest against lawlessness in the country. American citizens are advised to avoid Constitution Avenue and use alternate routes if possible, as Constitution Avenue has been closed from the Diplomatic Enclave to Parliament. We wish to remind American Citizens that even demonstrations intended to be peaceful can turn confrontational and possibly escalate into violence.
