Islamabad, September 11, 2007 - Ambassador Anne W. Patterson joins visiting members of the United States Congress, Representatives Stephen F. Lynch (D-MA), Todd Platts (R-PA), Brian Higgins (D-NY), and staff of the U.S. Embassy in Islamabad to commemorate the lives lost to terrorist attacks and events that occurred on September 11, 2001. A moment of silence was observed and members of the mission read passages from the Quran and the Bible in English, Urdu and Arabic.
