Several Islamic groups have called for nationwide protests following Friday mid-day prayers, in response to a Swedish newspaper cartoon. Given the major problems which occurred after the February 2006 cartoon depictions of Mohammed by Danish newspapers, Americans are advised to avoid all market areas today and other areas where there is a potential for large crowds.
