Internationally known, Rose Red Elk aka, Wieka Luta Win, Red Feather Woman, is a Native American storyteller, singer, songwriter and author.  She was born on the Fort Peck Reservation in Poplar, Montana and is an enrolled member of the Sioux/Assiniboine tribes.  Rose has captivated audiences for more than 20+ years, singing and telling traditional stories to children and adults of all ages.  On June 8, 2006 in Hollywood, FL, she won the Native American Music Award, in the Spoken Word Category.  She performed at the Lok Virsa museum in Islamabad on April 27th.
