U.S. Welcomes Foreign Minister Qureshi's Washington Visit

Islamabad - "The United States welcomes the visit of Foreign Minister Qureshi to Washington this week. We view the Foreign Minister's visit as an opportunity to discuss bilateral issues, including concerns raised in Pakistan regarding the Enhanced Partnership with Pakistan Act of 2009, also known as the Kerry-Lugar-Berman bill.
We look forward to productive meetings for the Foreign Minister with senior Administration officials, including the Special Representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan Ambassador Richard Holbrooke, as well as with Members of the United States Congress."
