October 19, 2010

Islamabad - Eight Winners of the Pakistan Fast Growth 25 - a ranking of fast growing enterprises - are at Harvard University this week to attend AllWorld Summit, where they will meet emerging entrepreneurs from around the world and receive training from some of the world's top entrepreneurs and academics.

The Pakistan Fast Growth 25 is a program of AllWorld Network in partnership with Harvard Business School Professor Michael Porter and run in collaboration with JS Bank Limited, FPCCI, and other local partners. AllWorld's mission is to create one million jobs by 2015 by advancing the growth entrepreneurs of the emerging world and creating the next economy of ideas and jobs.

Commenting on behalf of AllWorld Network, its cofounders Anne Habiby and Deirdre Coyle said that "the Pakistan Fast Growth 25 was the most successful program in the history of AllWorld and broke all records in terms of the number of companies that applied and the growth rate of those companies. We are honored to be working with the U.S. Embassy in Islamabad, JS Bank Limited, and our other partners to put Pakistan's growth entrepreneurs on the global radar screen."

"Supporting entrepreneurship is an important goal of the U.S. government, and we are proud to have played a role in helping the Pakistan 25 come to life, said U.S. Charge d'Affairs in Pakistan Stephen Engelken.  "The Pakistan 25 will create an entrepreneurship path for other entrepreneurs to follow and will send a message around the world that Pakistan is open for business."

The AllWorld Summit will take place all this week at Harvard University.  Fast Growth 25 Winners from Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Lebanon, UAE, Egypt, South Africa, India, and Turkey will also attend. For more information on the AllWorld Summit, please visit www.allworldlive.com
